Returns & Refunds

We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind or make a wrong selection.

But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem.  This is when the item:

  • Has a problem/fault that would have stopped someone from buying the item had they known about it
  • Is unsage
  • Is significantly different from the same or description 
  • Doesn't do what it is suppose to do

Please keep proof of purchase (eg. your receipt) - this is required.

Our policy: as well as fulling the consumer law requirements, out of good will to our customers we will also provide the following:

Where goods are not faulty an exchange or store credit may be given;

  • Where goods are new and have not been used
  • Where goods are not a personal hygiene, bedding or clothing item
  • Where goods are not in original packaging
  • And you can provide proof of purchase

For faulty goods that we are unable to test in store, we retain the right to have them sent away for testing before a refund or replacement is provided.

On the off chance you receive an item that is faulty, please contact us at hello@thatofficeplacemackay.com.au with proof of purchase details to arrange for an assessment by the supplier. Upon assessment, we will arrange a replacement item, refund or credit note as deemed by the supplier.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received the returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
